Has your idea of the perfect romantic partner changed with age? Do you think we can teach ourselves to desire partners who are better for us or are we constrained by the laws of attraction?

In my view, perfection is a myth. Excellence is more obtainable. While we can't help who we fall in love with, in the beginning, the laws of attraction play a large part in who we fall in love with since many people have a preference for physical characterists they desire in a partner. I strongly believe that as we learn more about ourselves, our needs change, and yes, I do feel it's possible for people to change their minds about what makes a perfect romantic parter. In the end, I strongly believe that values, beliefs, and shared interests play a larger part in determining our choice of a romantic partner.

If your best friend asked you OR your partner to help you conceive a child, would you consider it? How do you think it would affect your friendship and your relationship?

Fortunately, my best friend and I have never felt any maternal instincts. We both prefer dogs or cats children. I broke up with two long term boyfriends because they wanted children and I did not.

Are you happy at your current job? Do you think there's such a thing as a dream job? What do you hope to be doing five or ten years from now? Are you working towards that goal?

Am I happy with my current job? absolutely not. I like most of the people I work with my my supervisor has somehow decided she doesn't like me. As a result, communication between us in nonexistent. Due to the current state of the economy, I don't feel that it's the best time to look for another job. I'm taking a few career tests to see what careers are best suited for my introverted personality. In the spring, I have plans to go back to school and finish my business degree.

What is the longest uninterrupted period of time you've ever watched TV? Were you alone or with a friend/partner? Do you tend to watch more TV when you're happy, depressed, or simply bored?

Most of the time, TV is just background noise for me. I usually find myself reading or writing when I watch tv. I think the longest period of time I watched TV was recently when I watched the entire DVD of Lie To Me, which was 12 hours.

It's a rare occurance when I put a new release on reserve at the library and I end up being one of the first to read it. Granted my list of reserved books numbers around 60 so I was really surprised to find out that Anthony E. Zuiker's (yes, the same person who created CSI) first book, Level 26, was ready for me to pick up. Alas, I must forgo reading Harlan Cobin's novel, "The Woods," in favor of book I just recently heard about, thanks to a book club I belong to but rarely order from.

The gist of the story finds Steve Dark, a crime scene tactician, on the hunt for one of the world's most dangerous serial killer, classified as Level 26. What makes this book such a ground breaking book is the fact that readers can log on after reading the first 20 pages and watch a "cyber-bridge-" a three minute scene featuring A list actors from movies and TV.

Well, I'm off to start reading the first chapter. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those books that will be impossible to put down.

What's the hardest part about looking for a new job?

Everything. With the economy the way it is, there are dozens of people applying for the same job. In order to keep one's head merely above water, updating skills in essential but it's not a garauntee that you will even get to the first interview. For me, I'm over 40 and the hardest part is that HR people can't see the fact that I have a youthful appearance or have the energy of Tigger The Tiger just from looking at my resume. The part I hate most about looking for a new job is the fact that HR people will say that they will get back to you and then they never do.

If an online psychic warned you not to leave home, would you cancel plans to attend a party? Would you refuse to date someone with a clashing astrological sign? In short, do you believe?

First of all, I can't afford to spend time talking to an online psychic. If a psychic told me not to leave home, I 'd get in my car and talk a day trip somewhere interesting. Sure, I'd date someone who's astrological sign clashed with mine. Opposites can attract and sometimes, it does work out. While I only read my horoscope for fun I do like to study the signs of the zodiac. Understanding the zodiac signs is a great way to iimprove personal and business relationships.

On a scorching day, do you prefer the beach or an air-conditioned movie theater?

I would chose an air conditioned movie theater over the beach. While I would love to spend time at the beach, I sun burn easily due to my fair skin so I stay out of the sun as much as possible.

My fitness goal is to lose 25 lbs and tone my thighs and arms.  I manage to find time to exercise every day. I alternate my work out between riding my exercise bike and doing pilates.
